Hen Party at Slimbridge Rectory.

Afternoon tea at the rectory... with a difference; there was no "more tea Vicar!"
When we arrived the Hen party were relaxing in a beautiful local rectory. We brought them tea, cucumber, smoked salmon sandwiches and cupcakes, scones and caramel shortcake... then they showered the bride to be with naughty gifts!

In the evening we returned to the house with dinner... greeted by a beautiful young bare bottomed drinks waiter wearing an apron, bow tie and a broad smile!
After much laughter we served a three course dinner in the dining room.
The ladies were having a fantastic time having drunk many cocktails; served by their own special waiter!
They dined on Marinated King Prawn Brochettes and Goats Cheese, Tomato & Basil en Croute. Followed by Beef Wellington and Chicken Ballotine stuffed with Spinach and Riccotta. Their dessert was a choice Sticky Chocolate Pudding and Baked Raspberry Cheesecake, all homemade. Which they all enjoyed very much...one hen said she didn't want her cheesecake to ever end!
Much drinking followed with dancing at their own personal disco... maybe this morning I should have returned to serve some hangover cures! (Now there's a new business opportunity!)

Wedding Favours Cupcakes.

Wedding Favours.

Cupcakes make fantastic wedding favours.
I made these for a recent wedding; the flowers matched the brides wedding theme (Bright pink Lillies and Roses).

They made the table setting look very pretty , along with the balloons that I also supplied to decorate the tables.

Wedding Cupcakes.

Cupcakes as Wedding Cakes have become very popular recently.

I have made many different cupcake displays for weddings including a cake with a giant cupcake on top for the bride and groom to cut.

I hire out the stands to display the cakes beautifully (see http://www.pat-a-cakes-catering/ for pictures and info about hiring stands).

Welcoming a new baby cupcakes.

Welcome a new baby into the family or to friends with a box of cupcakes.
They make an excellent gift and give new parents a well earned treat!
I made these cakes when my new niece arrived.

Party Bag Cupcakes.

How about cupcakes instead of a party bag?
Last weekend I made cupcakes for a 10 year olds birthday party.
I make the cakes in the child's favourite colours and box them individually so that her friends can take them home.

Cupcake Wrappers.

I have started making cupcake wrappers to make the cakes look even prettier.

I have some beautiful papers to make the wrappers from.

They look fantastic on cakes that are for a present for your friends or family. I can make a batch and deliver them to their home. Much tastier than a bunch of flowers!
A box of cupcakes delivered is a great gift for a male friend or family member. After all what do you buy the man who has everything?

4 Gluten Free Cupcakes...
Boxed as a gift.

Welcome to Cupcakes by Pat-a-Cakes.

Welcome to my new cupcake blogspot.

I would like to introduce you to my designer cupcakes and hopefully wet your appetites!
I make delicious cakes in many flavours to suit your taste and dietary requirements. My gluten free cakes are very popular.

My cupcakes are all homemade with exclusively made decorations that I make myself from icing and chocolate. I hand paint (with food colours) the decorations and finish the cake off with some edible glitter; that adds that bit of sparkle.
To enhance the beauty of my cakes I have also started making cupcake wrappers (as in this picture).
More pictures and information to follow over the coming months...
